Multilingual messaging on vaccinations

Multilingual clinicians at the Royal Children’s Hospital have joined together to bring culturally and linguistically diverse (CALD) communities an important message about COVID-19 vaccinations.

The first batch of these videos has been released in Arabic, Bengali, Cantonese, Malay, Mandarin and Turkish, with more to come, and will help to support CALD families to understand the importance of vaccinations.

Each video delivers an important message about vaccinations and their role in protecting one another from the spread of the disease.

RCH healthcare professionals discuss what it is like to work in their role and the impacts they have seen from the pandemic.

For the protection of children, elders and everyone else, they inform their CALD communities and encourage them to spread this important message.

The messengers are Harith Al-Rawi – Arabic, Linda Kader – Bengali, Tiffany Pang – Cantonese, Laila Farah Ibrahim – Malay, Katherine Chen – Mandarin and Sema Kuyruk – Turkish.
